Who We Are
The Rotary Club of Anuradhapura is proud to be part of Rotary International, a global network of 1.4 million members committed to Service Above Self. Rotary brings together business and professional leaders from around the world to provide humanitarian service and uphold high ethical standards in every vocation.
We are also a member of Rotary District 3220, which covers Sri Lanka and the Maldives, under the leadership of District Governor Rtn. Delvin Pereira. As one of 70 clubs in this district, we are dedicated to driving positive change in our community while contributing to Rotary’s global mission of peace, goodwill, and sustainable development.
Our History
Since our charter in 1982, the club has empowered local communities through service in education, health, sanitation, environment, and youth development. Our legacy is enriched by the leadership of past presidents who have strengthened our mission.
