Drug Prevention Walk 2025 – Rotary Club of Anuradhapura
Held successfully in parallel with National Drug Prevention Week, the Rotary Club of Anuradhapura proudly organized a Drug Prevention Walk in collaboration with the Municipal Council of Anuradhapura and Anuradhapura Police.

Recognizing that public safety is a shared responsibility, the Rotary Club of Anuradhapura took the initiative at the request of SSP Thilina Hewa Pathirana to construct and sponsor a new police checkpoint at the Anuradhapura Railway Station.

Rotary Club of Anuradhapura Welcomes Indian Cyclist Prasanjit Das on World Tour Promoting Peace, Health, and Sustainability
Renowned Indian cyclist Prasanjit Das began his world cycling tour from Sri Lanka, traveling from Jaffna to Colombo, and arriving in Anuradhapura. He was warmly welcomed at Seedevi Family Restaurant by Rotary Club President Rtn. Sandaruwan Samaratunga and Mayor Mr. N. Karunaratne, a cycling champion and enthusiast.
